Course Description:
H2S Alive
The course covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S, how to protect oneself and basic rescue techniques. Each student is required to operate self-contained breathing apparatus, a detector tube device, and participate in CPR and rescue lift and drag exercises.
An industry standard H2S Alive certificate valid for three years is issued upon successful completion of a written examination and demonstration of the required skills. Certification in CPR is not provided from this course.
Canadian Red Cross Workplace Standard First Aid & CPR Course
This course includes First Aid & CPR Guidelines 2005 and meets OHS regulations for Standard First Aid
Comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level A, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.
